Our standard appointment length is 15 minutes, but your pet’s comfort is our priority, and we never charge for extra time. If you have a nervous pet or multiple concerns, simply let us know, and we'll schedule a longer, tailored visit for you.

If your pet is sick and presents to us during our opening hours or has undergone surgery with us, we will make every effort to keep them on site. We will provide continuous care with a vet or nurse at our clinic as long as this is clinically appropriate.

Yes. We are an independent veterinary practice and the clinic is owned exclusively by vets.
Dr Joanna Rodak-Smith MRCVS and Dr Chris Goetschel MRCVS are the clinical founders of our Colchester practice. Dr Kyle Eadie and Dr Laurie Barrow are also veterinary founders of the business. While they are not involved in the day-to-day clinical work at the practice, Laurie supports with orthopaedic procedures and Kyle provides imaging support when needed.
Kyle and Laurie established The Woodbridge Vets in 2022 and now help vets build, open and run their own independent veterinary practices. Each practice is a separate legal entity, owned and run at clinic level.
