Out Of Hours Care
We offer a balanced approach to out of hours care, prioritising the well-being of both our patients and our team.
Out of hours inpatient care:
Wherever possible, we provide round-the-clock care for our inpatients. If your pet is sick and presents to us during our weekday opening hours or has undergone surgery with us, we will provide continuous care at our practice. A member of our experienced team will stay overnight to monitor and tend to your pet, ensuring they receive the best possible care during their recovery. The patient will not be transferred to another practice, which allows for the best continuity of care for our more unwell pets.
To provide excellent care every day, our small team need to rest. This allows us to give your pets the attention they need and deserve. This means striking a balance in regard to out-of-hours care to ensure the well-being of our valued team members.
For new calls outside of our opening hours, where you need to discuss your pet's health or see a vet before we open, you will be connected to the highly trained emergency clinicians at Vets Now Manningtree, located in Cattawade, Brantham CO11 1QL.
